Earlier on the Main Card, featured a bantamweight title bout between Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan. Sterling is currently the Bantamweight Champion. His most recent bout was for the bantamweight title against Petr Yan at UFC 273 on April 9, 2022. After five full rounds, Sterling was crowned the undisputed Champion - he won the bout via split decision.
