McCann made her UFC debut 2018 where she unfortunately lost via unanimous decision to Priscilia Cachoeira. McCann then became the first ever British women’s fighter to win in the premier MMA division, defeating Priscila Cachoeira in her second bout in the organisation.  

Unfortunately, it was not meant to be for McCann in London as she was defeated by a rear naked choke submission. Following the fight, Molly McCann announced she would be retiring from the UFC. Her career will be used as a motivator for the next generation of up-and-coming fighters.
